When registering a dot com with the letters UK in the name, is it better to have the UK in front of the word/words or after?

Example:

UKshops.com
ShopsUK.com

Thanx in advance

It depends on the name but UK before the name sounds better so: ukshops.com is your best bet,

ukshops.com has a nice ring instead of shopsuk.com i would go for ukshops.com if anything.

ukshops sounds better, but personally if using a search engine I would generally type in "shops uk" - rationale being that I want "shops" firstly but qualified by "UK" area.

So strictly on search engine value I might choose "shopsuk". In general terms I doubt the value of the "UK" prefix or suffix as a part of a name.

Its Best to have your keyword first.

Therefore unlikely to start with UK

Domainsuk is better than UKdomains

Except for the fact that it looks like you are saying Domain Suck but don't know how to spell it. :goofy:

Put the "UK" first IMHO.
