Recently, I have received several transfer requests from parties unknown trying to get me to authorize a transfer of different domains to another account. Is this normal? Do you folks get a lot fo these?

Should I be concerned, or just lock down the domain and forget about it?

It means you must have some good domain names. :)

It happens, especially when the previous owner of a domain just realized he forgot to pay the renewal fee, and the domain dropped. Don't worry about it.

"Do you folks get a lot fo these?"

YUP. We all get 'em ... no worries, as mentioned! :) Good Luck.

Jsut make sure you have a registry lock on the domains :)

I get them every now and then.

"blah, blah, blah... please sign this letter and return it to us ASAP so we may transfer the domain...blah, blah, blah"

yea, right.

The only ones I get are mine, worst luck! ;)

But as MarkMitford said - lock your domains asap.

my thanks to everyone that replied!
