Hi EveryOne,

I am wondering about something as follows:

Lets say you have 500 Highly Targeted and ONLY TYPE-IN TRAFFIC unique visitors a day.

Again all these are type-ins only and none of the visitors are from links etc.

All these visitors belong to just one category (for example 'insurance').

If you park your domains with a parking service you geberally make good money because this type of traffic is highly potent and thus converts good.
But generally you end up getting about 1/3rd of the total earnings of your domains from the parking service as they get paid some 70% of total by google/overture etc, and then they keep 50% for them and then pay you the rest. So in other words you generally make about 1/rd of what your domains actually earn.

Q1: Is it possible to deal directly with a company (lets say ReliaQuote.com, SelectQuote.com etc in case of 'insurance' category for example) and direct all this type in traffic to their site i.e. by changing the DNS on your insurance domains to the sponsor's site? In liew they can pay you high rate per visitor because of this high-quality TARGETED TYPE-IN traffic that they are paying high PPC to google/Overture etc. (for example they are paying 2 to 9 dollars for 'insurance keywords).

So may be they can pay you $1 per visitor as they are getting very high quality leads from you just as they will be getting from google/overture ppc.

Q2: Has anyone ever tried something like this directly with a sponsor and can you get these kind of rates directly?

Note: In my view, using this direct method, both the domain owner and the sponsor benefit big-time. For example in this case, the domain owner will make $500 a day. Lets say the sponsor gets 5% (I think in reality it can be much higher because the visitors are directly related to the sponsor's business and they are type-in only) sale conversion rate. That means 25 sales a day....in insurance commissions are generally the entire first year's premium.......that means the sponsor will make (assuiming $150 first year's policy premium which is a very low assumption in my view) 25 x $150 = $3750 per day from your 500 insurance visitors/leads. They pay you $500 and still pocket $3250 per day.

Please share your experiences if any, including your comments.

Thanks,

you can go directly to the insurance provider, the key is for them to make a html link for you, ehealthinsurance did it for me with the affiliate code in the html redirect, soon after ehealthinsurance did away with their medicare plans so i didnt get any money, i beleive they pay 40 dollars for every application filled out They might go for the pay per view but that is risky for them because on google people only ckick after reading summary and if its specifically what they sell then the visetor wants there product, wher if you just send blanket traffic it could be people searching for info or another website, it is worth a try with that much traffic to contact them directly

Thanks for your input on this issue.

I have heard that some companies pay pretty good for 'targeted type-in traffic' but I dn't know which ones are those especially in insurance sector.

I am sure some one must know more about it.

Regards,
