.US domains for just $5 !!

Hey all,

I just came accross this:

$5.00 .US domain Name call in special at GoDaddy. Simply call them up and tell them you want the domains for $5 bucks.

I really don't know when this offer will expire though. And you gotta call their phone number (480) 505-8877 (not toll-free). But you can register up to 10 years at that rate.

Unfortunately this is not true. I spent an hour putting a list together then called them to place the order. It turns out new .US registrations are $6.95 and that special is available to everyone online. The $5 call-in special only applies to adding extra years to .US names that you already have registered there. False alarm. :sad:

No problem spietreser! It gave me a chance to go through my name lists and prioritize the ones I want to register most. I was going to pickup about 15 from them at that price. I'll probably still take the top 5 through my regular registrar Enom.

Hello guys, you can register .US and .BIZ for $5.95/year 'till March 31 promotion. I have godaddy reseller (template) www.CenterDomain.com check it out.

actually, a few months back, godaddy did have a call in special on .us names. For only $5 each.

I bought 3.

GoDaddy has a promotion of a .US and .BIZ at a promo rate of $10.95 for both for one year.

I just e-mail my names to someone there, and they come back regged. It's too easy, that's most likely why I reg too many names.
