.US Passes 100,000,000 Mark on Google

.US has passed the 100,000,000 point on Google, currently showing 115,000,000: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:.us&btnG=Google+Search . Just a very short time ago I found it in the 80's.

From this I am only left to conclude that US ccTLD is being hyped on this thread and it is still very small.

I would further add that using Google extensively notably to track progress of Chinese IDN, I have found the results to be very irratic, and therefore not a good measure of short-term growth.

Yes, I am not sure how much significance you can place on this. With IDN in frontier languages such as Arabic and Hindi, it not unusual for Google Stats to jump from nothing to hundreds of thousands if not millions overnight. It just reflects the fact that Google has got around to doing the Indexing.

"gotten around to the indexing", yes, but the trends as far as % growth rate are still encouraging when compared to other ccTLD's
