Race is simply a classification in case a person by the same name exists. Technically, she is bi-racial (black/caucasian) but apparently she goes as 'black'.

Much of it has to do with Affirmative Action statutes. Yes, some institutions still have quotas. Typically there is an opt-out as this information is not mandatory, yet it appears on nearly every federal and state form and HR form or application. If you were to read closely, you'll see the typical institutional jargon about tracking, effectiveness of our reach, and so on.

For a nation that insists its entities do not discriminate against race, age, sex, etc...we are obsessed with knowing everything about everyone and have no guilt or shame asking everyone to attach those labels to themselves.

the way she was picked up almost straight away didn't figure at first
then I got thinking

so maybe if she is masquerading as andrea deluca, she either had a cc in that name when she was booked and police knew that and gave back to her when released and red flag went up as soon as was used
or hse had been sent one and was inside at time and was on her doormat when got back and again red flag went up when was used
but we know the police are not this efficient so again pondering
they don't seem to release minuted of hearings, just basic one sentences on decisions

Yeah, I think the law is going to have a long and difficult road ahead sorting out how many names she uses and goes by. Almost sure to have some more outstanding warrants against her under those different names.

No, she's in the slammer since 8/28/2012. I think there is a delay between active and re-opened cases, she also failed to follow the rules of her release plus her given address - the suite in Pensacola, FL - bounced all mail.

Did you document the fraud by filing a police report when learned you were scammed? If not, it would of been the wise thing to do even though your located in Canada.. Doing so can improve your chances of recovering your money, either through the legal system or disputing the charge through your credit card co.... And who knows, she just might be stupid enough to flee the US to Canada and open a law office there, next door to a tattoo parlor perhaps.

She pleaded "not guilty" today and the verdict will be delivered on Wednesday.

Not 100% sure but it seems that today she was sentenced to a fine plus imposing the conditions of her previous sentencing, thus released. A ticking time bomb.
