Can it still be profitable to use a synonym for a domain name? For instance, if there is a common phrase for a dental cosmetic product but the .com, .net etc are taken, is it worthwhile to use an alternative phrase that's not taken? (I'll pm you if you would like to know the specific phrase I have in mind). Let's say you plan on developing the site into an information site. You're not going to park it.

That all depends on how popular the alternative name is especially if you're looking for type in traffic

I searched "Property" on DomainWhiz and "propertyinterest.com" showed up as available even though it was already a registered domain.
