Thanks all for your appraisals. I personally think this would be a great domain name for any product launch in the United States. I'm going to hang onto it for a while.

I agree with you AMCy. Although it doesnt sound yet like it may be worth much, I can understand your reasoning.
I would definately keep it.
It's one of those domains that If sold, it will probably sell for much more than appraised so far here.

$0.00 - Reg. Fee. IMO.

EVERY registered domain probably has SOME value to SOMEONE, at some point.....or the domain would likely stay "unregistered". But registering a domain for MERE speculation that someone else in this world will share the same "vision" that you have for this domain, is probably nothing more than a waste of money. In other words, registering a domain that has no inherent value (i.e. built in traffic, related product line or service, immediate resale value, etc.) with only the hope that some value will be attributed to that domain by someone else at some point in the future, is really too speculative. I certainly would not feed a slot machine, unless there was a reasonable chance of winning TODAY.....which is why most (if not all) slot machines have 10 different ways to Sunday to win something based on one of many different winning combinations.

In this case, since it is YOU that attributes some value to this particular domain, (and YOU that pulled the trigger on registering it), perhaps it should also be YOU that develops the domain in line with YOUR "vision". Otherwise, I'd let the domain drop when it comes time to 'feed' the registrar to renew it.

Best of luck.

I hear what you are saying but this one I'll keep because it is generating enough revenue via Google AdSense that it would be foolish of me to let it go. Thanks for your comments.

Joe approach is understandable, and very conservative. it also lacks crativity in my opinion.
Yes, one strategy on acquiring domains is what Joe suggests. Another is a more risk taking, and speculative approach (and very creative), which from my experience here, it looks like most of us do (aka domaineers).
So, buying to speculate is a different side of the same coin Joe is describing, but it is the same coin none the less.

mid-high $XX, but more if it generates revenue.

I'd say USLaunch.com is worth less than $50.
Good luck with selling it though!

Every once in a while, one of the AdSense editors will block ads from displaying on one of my custom "domain for sale" pages, claiming that the page violates their TOS as a "parked" page. I then email them telling them that it's not parked page; that it is in fact a custom for sale page with unique content and links and is hosted on my server. They then remove the block. This is a game I've been playing with them for some months now.
