Any thoughts on the value of .ca domains and where they stand in the spectrum of tld's, are they similar in value to .us?

Can anyone offer any recent sales for .ca domains.

.ca names are going up all the time. More and more Canadians register them , and ready to buy .ca names for much more than registration price. I think this year the growth will be even much more. It is not unusual to have few sales a week in $500
range. Only few years ago you couldn't find something like that on .ca market.
Last week few very valueble names dropped such as STREAM.ca and VECTOR.ca
Both names had more than 500$ bids in few domain drop services.
