value of a firstname dot tv ?

should I consider to reg a surname.tv ? a surname.com goes pretty high but what about .tv ?
Found a nice one available :gossip:
Pls share your thoughts.

Hard to say on these, would have to be an end user sale , a reseller would not touch it I don't think unless it went cheap, and the price of .TV reg fee is high. it would have to be real good , like Mike.tv or similar.

Don't go for firstname or surname.tv. .tv extension won't go well with a person's name. Instead opt for the .com even though it may be costly.

I would hold off on a .tv unless you are looking to hold on to it for a long while. Even then, it's going to have to be a common name before someone will want it. Names are definitely best as a .com and possibly a .net if it's a common name, like John or Smith.net
