I own marzo.info meaning march in spanish. I would sell it for $2 quite happily.
This name is worth low $x if you are lucky. Try selling it :) Sorry. JMO

marzo.info sold!

The perspective could be very different for an Italian speaking person. Your appraisal seems to be very ignorant. I find it funny that you would mention I should sell the domain, or for that matter why you would point out a domain which you would sell for reg fee. Why would you register it in the first place?

I registered it thinking it was a great name. Then when I couldnt sell it my view changed...
Thats the way domaining works, you take risks and hope they pay off. This one didnt..
I was just posting my opinion. Sorry if I offended.

I find quite disrespectful calling a peer domainer "ignorant" just because he doesn't assign your domain a high value. He actually provides a VERY VALID comparison in a language a bit more popular than italian. Also, his explanation about he ended up with the domain is VERY VALID TOO. Not finding a buyer is a good indicator that one registered a crappy domain, regardless the initial opinion.

I personally have been stuck with {english dictionary word}.com just because its not particularly valuable or easy to develop. I find venerdi.com/net/org hard to develop/monetize, leave alone the .info counterpart.

Next time you ask for an appraisal, make sure you actually want an appraisal and not just reassurance of your own estimates.

And YES, I agree with TOM, thats the way domaining works!

Sometimes one falls in love with a domain that no one cares about. I have been there, many have been there and many will be there, particularly novice domainers. Otherwise, there would not expire 25K-40K domains a day.

Generic .info domains can be a good investment imo, as they are very cheap to register. The market for non-English domains is getting bigger. Might be a good idea to hold onto for a while.

That was not my point. I am looking for educated appraisals. especially in the case of a non-english domain it may not seem valuable to an English speaking domainer. I am sure it took you 5 seconds to post a random number as an appraisal, I am guessing it took much more time for you to post this detailed response.

I wouldn't be much interested in viernes.info, (maybe $9) or even vendredi.info. As spanish has more speakers than italian, I would hardly pay more than that.

So you look for educated appraisals? How educated do you find that 2 domainers have already assigned a $x value? Need 10 of them? Lets see if the thread is interesting enough to get more than 2 appraisals.

Educated appraisal means that you have some knowledge to base an appraisal on. "spanish has more speakers than italian" this is a ridiculous basis for an appraisal. I won't waste any more time on this discussion.

Three appraisals have been posted already lol.
