Verisign has xx.com in the REDEMPTIONPERIOD
with an Expiration date of 13-dec-2005.
I was able to contact the owner of xx.com and
it seems that Verisign or someone is really
trying to screw him out of this name registered
since 1994. This just shows how important the
whois contact info is and why (the contact
info) is deleted from view when a name goes into
the REDEMPTIONPERIOD. This smells a bit in my
opinion. The registrars should be required to
maintain the contact info while the names are
in the REDEMPTIONPERION and display them in
a whois request for all to see. If you owned
xx.com and someone had renewed the name and then
later canceled the charges after placing a snap
on that name would you want someone to call you?
The owner of the name would simply think that
all is ok and fine with two more years to go
on that name in the mix of 400 other names.
Just a NOTICE! Beware! 101 ways to legally steal
your high value domain while you are looking the
other way.

Whois Server Version 1.3

This name holder also owns president.com and he
lost funny.com with some funny business at NSI.
He gets so much spam and crap on many of his names
they are redirected to the fbi and cia. What
garlic.com has to do with it ... must be something
there? Maybe ...
