I have finally decided to sell this again. For a long time this was my video game retail site. I used to make 20-50k a month in sales and actually do full product fullfillment. However in January I sold my retail store and moved to Las Vegas. I closed the site for any orders. It sat for about 3 months while I settled in. I made some inquiries to sell it but of course no one here wants to deal with product (neither do I really). So I retooled the site with a custom AWS script that I own. I run the same script at GamerStop.com and I just took the files and moved them over to VGD. Immediately I saw great income via Amazon and also Google.

So now I am looking to sell again. I want mid-high $xxxx offers for this. I think it could possibly be a $xx,xxx site due to name and income.

If you look at stats you will see that about 3 months ago the site was only getting 500 uniques a day...that's not true. Those are the Gamerstop stats when I moved the site files I forgot to not overwrite the stats. VGD has always gotten 2-5k daily uniques for a couple years now.

Here is this months adsense so far. Very respectable and slowly rising. I also always do a lot more traffic for xmas period.

Now the Amazon AWS script is GREAT. It requires NO WORK AT ALL. However I am only selling the script with a single site license with NO RESALE RIGHTS. If you sell the domain you may sell it with the script provided you agree to also turn over your rights to the new owner. The new owner must also agree to these same terms. I won't have this script spread all over kingdom come ruining it's wonderful ability to make me money.
The site takes up just a couple megs and is 20 files or less. It requires mod_rewrite to create the dynamic pages that appear static.

This month I have made $115 so far. Look at the conversion rate...it's excellent.

VGD is ranked #1 in google for "Video game deals" even without the quotes.

I have had this script running on VGD for about 3 months but it didn't start rocking till about 60 days ago. It's been steadily climbing ever since.

If you wish to get into product LMK. I can 100% set you up. VGD was an excellent game site. Check it in the archives. I can even load it up again as it's just tarballed on my server. I wanted 12k for the site. It was oscommerce based but I express BASED...because it was modded like crazy. The site worked very well and I think I had a few hundred customer reviews for products, seo links, tons of repeat customers froogle indexed, and a steady flow of sales.

I have 10 years video game retail experience. For 12k I would be your consultant for about 30 days to answer any of your questions and to get you going. The game industry is huge and making more money each day. This xmas is expected to do very well with the 360 and the PS3. Also I still get emails and PMs from people asking when I was going to reopen.

I put a lot of heart and soul into VGD but I don't have a place for boxing and shipping or storing the items. I was hoping to reopen but it doesn't seem like I will make it for the xmas season as I am moving in less than 2 months.

If you are serious about buying the game site LMK. 12k is my price and not a penny less. I have helped 2 others open retail establishments and I normally get 10k just for my expertise.

If want VGD as is you can always rebuild the site or just make the money as I am now.

I noticed that you have a similar site -> Gamerstop.com. Looks like it's still in it's infancy. Are you going to continue running that? Are you going to reuse the customer reviews on your site? Also, the phrase "video game deals" has an overture interest of around 100.

I already posted that the script was copied from my site Gamerstop in the first post. Technically the Gamerstop site is much older and it does very well on it's own and I do not plan on selling at this time. Have you ever worked with an AWS site? All info is directly pulled from Amazon. The reviews you see now are Amazon property. My old videogamedeals.com site is NOT being sold in this thread. You will have no rights to the content images reviews or ANYTHING that was part of the old VGD. Someone here showed interest in my older version of the site which was based on product fulfillment of video games. Unless you have 12k just put it out of your mind.
