I am considering selling my game retail site http://www.videogamedeals.com
It is a fully modded Oscommerce site that I have coded myself and it has a TON of extras and works amazingly well. I do rather brisk sales from the site anywhere from $6000-$30,000 per month (average about $10,000). The site currently is NOT drop ship. I had all the products in my B&M store. I recently sold my store and then moved to another city. So here I am in another city and my best money making site is doing nothing. I am going to consider selling and wanted some appraisals. I am not sure of the value of the site or even if it's worth it. I wouldn't mind also finding a broker to help me sell this to an interested party. Anyone in the gaming retail industry should be pleased with the site.
stats: http://www.videogamedeals.com/webstat I get lots of visitors. I also have an affiliate program with Shareasale which does well when I bother to create promotions. I do not do any google, email, or other advertising. I just run a great site and do well with order fulfillment.
My old game store in NYC was VERY popular. I get about 5-10 emails a day asking when I will be back online. If I do not sell the site then in about 2-3 months (maybe sooner) I will get some office/warehouse space and start again.
Any ideas on value??? Please feel free to ask me questions. I am sort of using this thread to help me sort of some things before I actually put it up for sale.
Oh and one more thing. I also own videogamesdeal.com, videogamesdeals.com, and videogamedeal.com. Those would be included in any sale and please consider that in any appraisal. I also have vgdeals.com, vgdeal.com and videogamebargains.com that would be considered to be added to the sale.
