Hi...

I currently own videoiPod.com. I frequently receive unsolicited inquiries about selling the name, but have not been willing to sell thus far because I'm just not sure what it's worth. I originally bought the domain in order to develop a site promoting a service related to video ipods, but decided not to go down that road.

I've been told that this is a potentially valuable domain (New York Times called 2006 "The Year of the Video iPod"). If anyone has any insights, etc about what this might be worth, I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks!
Steve

Steve:

You own one of the most coveted domains on the planet. High $xxx, xxx to mid $x,xxx, xxx for an end user. CellPhones.com is selling for $4.2 million. The global market for VideoiPod.com is boundless & timeless.

Good Luck & Have Fun! Also, becareful of the Apple Cease & Desist Letter, it may or may not arrive.

I'm surprised Apple haven't asked for it.
It is only a matter of time really.

Make the most of it while you have it.

I agree totally with Drop Business. Start selling Video iPods as an Amazon affiliate, or put up some information with Google/Yahoo ads. Make as much as you can, and hope Apple don't go after your earnings.
