I helped get this domain a few years ago for a friend of mine who is a wedding videographer. He told me he might want to part with it. Any ideas on value for videos.org? Thanks. Adam

it's a nice name. very general. I like it alot. the .org does decrease the value, but overall not a bad name. some very good potential. I'd say around $250 undeveloped, more if developed.

Good name! But it should be sold as soon as possible. We are moding into a digital world now with DVDs and Mini Discs taking over the market.

even a DVD is considered a 'video' by most people. Some words stay in common usage decades after they became scientifically obsolete. A good example: walk into a music store and say "I want the latest Red Hot Chili Peppers or Bob Dylan album" and they won't look at you funny or hand you a vinyl album.

People that's been using DVDs for ages like myself would never confuse those two terms. I doubt people of the younger generation would too. But the term "videos" won't disappear even if videos do, but it won't be heard as often.

Interesting that you bring up DVDs vs. Videos, as I was the initial registrant of DVD.NET. As soon as I heard the development of DVDs were in the works I regged DVD.NET back in 1997.

I then sold it to Sonic Solutions for $2,000 I believe within a few months about the time that DVDs came out.

Perhaps I should have held it until today?? I wonder what it would be worth in today's market.
