Vint Cerf speech summary from Domain Roundtable

I've posted a summary of Vint Cerf's (Chair of ICANN board) keynote at Domain Roundtable.

It was great seeing everyone in Seattle.

"In response to a question about the .com contract with Verisign, Cerf reminded the audience that the decision about the contract was made in the context of litigation between Verisign and ICANN. Cerf believes that taking the issue further in litigation would not have led to a better contract than what we have now."

I believe that about as much as I do in Santa Claus.

Cerf acknowledged that it was a judgement call.

Well hopefully the DOC will make a judgement call on his future with ICANN and/or the future of ICANN itself in the peoples favor. Doubt that will happen but I guess we can always dream.
