I think that the legal minds should want to comment on this one.
If you think about what happened, it looks like Sedo took a name which was committed to one venue and switched it to another venue without permission or authority to do so and without meeting their first committment to you.
They seemingly erred and would not back off because of something in their own internal policies, when they failed to meet the terms of their original agreement with you?
That strikes me as an invalid transaction if ever I saw one and very strange behavior indeed.
bdjuf, it seems entirely unfair for Sedo to act in this way and I can certainly understand your anger at the situation.
If the legal minds do comment, I would ask, are such acts by Sedo actionable and if so, what might be the damages?
Who knows, given the costs associated with completing an action, Sedo might just want to settle and end up buying your domain for quite a bit more than you paid for it.
