Nothing "New" about this at all and it's the way electricity and even oil supplies have been managed for many, many years.

Thanks for the feedback

I have only done a quick search on Google for the term. Saw some headlines that suggested this was a new Technology.

Any thoughts on value, or tips for contacting end users?

Sorry, I was probably a bit blunt with my reply before.....although I would say the technology itself is not new, this does seem to be a new name for it. People trying to cash in on the "money for old rope" principle comes to mind and they seem to be hanging it off the back of more environmentally friendly energy supplies.

I'm not one for understanding the value of domains...although god knows I'm trying hard and learning fast through trial and error. I'm more of an ideas person...I have several crap ideas a day in fact....lol.

Without developing the site yourself then I would say you need to be looking for companies that are heavily using the phrase to identify your possible end-user market. A quick search on Google myself just now turned up a couple of sites connected to large corporations who have "educational" pages about Virtual Power Plans and one of them may be interested.

Don't think their is any value in this to a reseller, unless one of them had an end user already lined up and were just looking to turn a quick buck....but as I said, am certainly no expert.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

Btw, this domain used to be owned by a company. Wayback records go back to 2001.
