I myself go to Virginia Tech (thank god my friends and I are safe), and my plan is to create some sort of memorial site for victims and to summarize events, etc. Before I do so, I'd like to see if anyone may have interest in this domain. Most other extensions are registered already.

Capitalizing on tragedies is the lowest form imaginable. We see this crap all the time after a disaster or tragedy and it really makes me sick. Like the people selling newspapers of 911 on ebay the day after....I really thought domainers were above that, obviously not.

So, I am not the only one who noticed. Trying not to be judgmental but hard to seperate the senses sometimes...sense vs. nonsense.

If all the speculators and specatators and domain ejaculators actually took the money they spent today and set up a legitimate memorial fund with the money spent on domain name registrations, it may go a long way to the healing and comfort of this horrific act.
