Site is less than two weeks old, I doubt it gets more than 5-10 uniques per day at this point, but it is now ranked 2nd on Google.com and every Google.cc I have checked for 'walen school' and 'thai walen' - ranked 2nd only to the authority site, which this site is critiquing. It is on the first page on all of those for 'walen method' - all of those terms without quotes. Combined the terms get almost exactly 1,000 exact searches per month. Just became ranked a couple of days ago.
I have temporarily taken the site down, less than twenty minutes ago. I would like to sell and transfer this quick so it doesn't lose it's indexing or Google ranking.
I bought the domain very recently, put up a Wordpress blog with a free Dreamhost.com template and made two posts critiquing the Walen School. The owner of the school found it and went crazy making a bunch of comments and fake comments and threatening me and all sorts of other bs. I would ignore him other than the fact that we both live in Thailand. Life is cheap in Thailand and he and a lot of other people make their livings from that company. So threats should be taken seriously for the most part, especially when coming from rich, well-connected people. Secondly, I just found out that it is a crime according to Thai law to defame a notable person or a business. It isn't worth going to jail over the site, or leaving the country, so I'm willing to basically give it away, so long as the new owner meets the following criteria:
-DNF iTrader of 10+
-Agree not to ever monetize or put ads on the site - this is not allowed for TM domains that critique another site.
-Agree to use your real name and address on the WHOIS
-Agree to host the site indefinitely
-Agree to renew the domain indefinitely
-Agree never to sell the site or give it away
Legally speaking I don't think I could give you any money for renewal or hosting, or even contribute to the blog, and still claim I am not defaming the company. I'd be open to discuss strategies for all of these, in private, with potential buyers.
Domain is with Moniker and currently has a private WHOIS, which you would need to cancel upon receipt of the domain.
Due to the nature of my reason for sale, I would prefer any specific non-technical questions (relating to reason for sale, the company etc) to be asked via PM.
*Note: In practice the defamation law has been used almost exclusively to censor criticism of the government in the news media and more recently on websites and blogs - or to punish people for criticizing the Thai King. The odds of them prosecuting a person in Thailand for this site are relatively low, the odds of them attempting to prosecute a person overseas is 0. There are tons of videos, articles and forum posts on foreign websites all over the net breaking this law in very serious ways -so serious that if I were to even state many of them, I'd be breaking Thai laws- and the most the Thai government has ever done is block those websites from being seen inside of Thailand. That said, if you plan to visit Thailand in the future, this site may not be for you.
**MODS: If this is inappropriate please DELETE IT, do not lock it, thank you**
