hi, I am wondering what are some the good 'words' in making a domain name? I am trying to find one that will fetch me thousands of dollars (or more)

how are these?

top
best
cheap
e

and please suggest more with descriptions of their worth.

thanks

If we knew that and they were available, we'd buy them.

The best thing is to decide where you market is, see what the strong words are in that market, work out how you could make money from a site with that name, and then start looking for them.

Alternatively find someone that wants to start a site, and charge them to look for a name.

That reminds me. If anyone knows of any available names that are worth thousands if dollars (possibly more), let me know. Maybe you'll want to buy them from me, after I register them

I think you both misunderstood my question.

I am asking for good words that can combine. For example, you can tell me "free" is a good word, but it does not mean "free" is available is available for registration.

What I want are prefixes or endings, that's all.

It all depends with the name. Just about any prefix could be used in a valuable name. You just gotta find the right combination. Like "FreeGames.com" would be nice.

Some good prefixes:

123
cyber
great
my
abc
e
hot
net
best
easy
i
virtual
buy
ez
interactive
cool
fast
internet

Some good suffixes:

2002/3
cafe
online
site
center
plus
store
4less
central
portal
web
andmore
home
pro
world
biz
net
shop
zone

These can be used to construct domains, but the bad news is that the longer the name, the less it is worth -- and geometricly so. Thus "cars.com" is worth more than "carscentral.com" which is worth a lot more than "ecarcentral.com"

Hmm!

Good list.

But most of the possible name is getting registered!.

Regards!
