I just spoke with my girlfriend. She is an office manager of a classified newspaper. She says the term "Wanteds" is very common. "Wanteds" are ads for items people are looking to buy.
Compared to "Want Ads" which are ads people are placing to sell something.
She, who knows nothing about domains, says it is worth alot.
She says it may be better than "WantAds.com" due to its direct meaning.

?? That's the same thing... People who are looking to buy look at the Want Ads that were placed by people looking to sell.

I previously worked in advertising at a large, metro newspaper. "WantAds.com" would be worth a ton more than "Wanteds.com." If people say "look at the wanteds," (which I don't hear that often, although I have heard it before), a lot of times what they are saying is just a bastardized version of "look at the want ads." You know, like the guy who calls them "French Benefits" instead of "Fringe Benefits."

Good luck with the name, I'm sure there's a fit for it, but I'm just trying to help bring it back into perspective.

I guess there are varying opinions on this. Sounds like it might be worth more if developed.

Thanks for all your feedback!

This term has a more specific meaning than "Wanted", people will immediately relate this to "wanted ads". As an example, Classified.com is not a devloped site while Classifieds.com is.

It is very easy to remember, and worth developing IMO

I would say around $50,000 or more

:jaw:

If this domain in worth $50K, then "Wanted(.)com" is worth at least $25,000,000

Again, no offense to the owner, but some perspective is needed...
