Comments much appreciated -- thanks!

don't see any value

WAP = Wireless Application Protocol -- installed on almost all mobile phones.

I'm sure he knows that, but why would anyone reg a .org.uk?

.org.uk has a following in the UK - why does everyone assume that the world is only interested in .com/net/org?
Agree that .com is currently no1 but with the reduction in available names in that extension, individual country extensions will become more sought after, especially where there is good search engine fodder and WAP is that.

yes but you can't honestly expect a .org.uk to have any real value whatsoever

Incorrect - .org.uk does have value - for example many companies/organizations (in the UK), who previously used .org have changed their domain to org.uk.

not a significant value, at least not to me and probably most people

Yes, I do see org.uk as having value with the right word(s).

yes, but everyone saying that is from the UK :D

Well what do you expect!
It's a UK extension and we know what goes in the UK.

thats what I meant: Maybe I am wrong and they really are popular in the uk. I don't know, but I don't think they have a chance of selling outside of the UK.
