My cell phone (an Ericsson phone using a Cingular plan) supports WAP.

There's a site called PyWeb that provides a free "proxy" service to convert sites to WAP in real time. I use it for my sites; you can go to wap.dan.info. (I set up the subdomain to redirect to the actual WML document that uses the PyWeb proxy.)
