Hi this is DEFINATELY a scam

Just a warning for you all, probably more for the inexperienced domainers

Email received today offering to buy domain name for sale, had these sort of things before but not from this email address, so I thought I would post it here. They are just trying to get you to get an apparaisal from the link they send you with the offer of $6000 or $8000 and have no intention of buying.

The email and website to beware of is
[email protected]

Regards

Unfortunately, this practice is old hat and has been going on for years. I first encountered it in the 90s with a group called EveryDayIncome.com. If a legitimate buyer wants to value a potential domain they need to so their OWN due diligence. The fact hat it is still going on must mean the scammers are still dupping unsuspecting newbies. Quite a shame.
