bottomline: Paid forums will be a industry standard in a few years time. People are willing to pay for specialized services or just plain getting above the fray. Pay sites weed out fraudsters/spammers. In a domain selling/buying environment that is worth the $49.95!!!

One thing domainers will soon realize this business is going to get more and more specialized. Hobby forum sites just won't do anymore.

Another prediction: I see DNF getting even more specialized. Evolution as with the internet is always fluxing and changing. Stagnant positions will only get you so far.

What I posted is what I genuinely feel. After looking at the time I spend on this site, I have sympathy for those guys. Most likely they will try to emulate what we have here. That will take a lot of work. All the while, they're stuck will a group that proclaims forums should be free.

The fact that the members of the other forum seem to spend so much of their time talking about dnforum shows that the powers that be here are doing something right. They should change the name of the other bunch to dnforumforum .
