For sale is the domain+site mentioned above, Watch Eclipse Online in the .com form. I've had this domain for about 12 months, hand-registered. There are three articles on it currently that I paid a freelancer to write. The sale also comes with a twitter account that is related, with a few followers.
For those of you who are into monetizing movie sites, this domain is the holy grail of this year. Last year, there were people making $5k+/day (myself included) with similar domains after doing some basic backlinking and ranking for just the long-tail keywords. I've just begun promoting this one, having spent roughly one hour on backlinks, and because of its wonderful keyword for a domain, it's already page 5 for "watch eclipse online" and page 3 for "stream eclipse online." The potential for this one is far higher than last year.
For the purpose of this sale, assume no traffic and revenue. However, just fyi, I put the site online in May sometime. As of June 14 it has gotten 1800 unique visitors and made $95.29.
The monetization strategies for this type of site are plentiful, and if you're interested in this domain it's likely you already have an idea of how to monetize it. However, if you would like my input on how to make money from it, I'd be more than happy to help you with everything including pointing you to the right companies to use depending on what direction you'd like to take the domain in.
I'm selling the domain because I am going out of town for the next three weeks to the Carolinas (two weddings), where I won't have consistent Internet and won't be able to devote the amount of time I'd like to to the site. The movie comes out in three weeks, so I don't want to miss the first wave of opportunity. Last year's "wave" lasted about two months, starting out at ~$7k/day for the first couple weeks after the movie (this was in November), and continuing to pull in over $1k/day even through January. My total net on last year's Twilight movie was over $100k.
