I think it would be great to get everyone for a night or day (whereever you are at) to get to know each other a little better. Which reminds me I still need to post my pix on http://www.dnfaces.com so you can all see my mug.

What would be a good time for everyone? It would need to be a time that would hit most everyone at a decent hour. We have people in Europe, Asia, Australia and the US. We could have two sessions if we needed to.

It could be a really good time, where we could discuss the important issues of domain names, or just to get to know each other. An open format if you will.

What do yo think?

A lot of DNF members are from the Toronto area. I wouldn't mind having a few beers with them.

Why not just have a domain name conference/convention much the way the affiliate industry has their annual "Affiliate Force"?

Just remember Canadians don't need any reason to get together for a couple of beers!

It would be neat if groups were able to get together at a bar or something. That is a great idea! I too have noticed several DNF members on here from Canada or the greater Toronto area.

I think Canada is going to be very powerful in tech in the future. Is the "tech sector" in Canada...Toronto by chance???

Note to GregR: One revenue stream for you might be to sell "DNF" T-shirts. That way if there were get togethers at bars or what not we could all find each other the first time we meet.

My vote is for Las Vegas. Any excuse for Vegas is a good excuse. (Airfare is cheap there too)

That is the least I can do after you fly all the way from Australia.

Getting 32767 Dan Bucks as part of the deal involved tough negotiations. Negotiations almost broke down over this :D

Didn't manage to get it changed from Dan Bucks to Greg Bucks? :D

Goh ... Rock'n'Roll ... Dancers ....

Since 32767 is the max size of an INTEGER variable in Visual Basic, you can assume:

1) This message board was written in Visual Basic
2) Points is avariable type INTEGER

Alright, enough of code deducing...

Back to work :D

I was planning on skipping Comdex this year. Lousy Comdex last year. If that's the place and time, I'd reconsider. I usually arrive Wednesday and leave Saturday.

I'll be in vegas for Comdex this year.

The only thing is lodging is much higher than normal that week.
