Maybe someone in the USA could call them for free on 1800 761 2468 and ask them do they really sell domain registrations for a once only payment of $6.95 per year (without hosting,url forward or email)

I followed a .com reg right through to shopping cart, it looks like there are no strings. Cart total was $6.95.
