The Texas page is basically done .. I have listed nearly every convention center ,civic center, theaters , sports stadiums in the state, with links for tickets to anything thats playing in Texas..

You have a fight calculator , a calculater, calendar and other tools..

How is the look? clean, cluttered noisy?

Too much ? just about right..? missing anything ?

general opinions welcomed..

Ummmm.. Thats a good idea wilco.. restaurant guide near major convention centers..

Your nav bar really isn't a nav bar, it's links to external sites like espn, dictionary.com, and weather.com, etc.

No need to give visitors an opportunity to leave your site. Either implement these features into the site, or create a general nav bar.

Yeah, the problem is google... I NEED to link out to some high profile sites..dictiuoary.com, espn,com etc.. fill that niche without doing much damage...

Google dosent consider who is just linking into you ...but also who you are linking too..

I would like to keep all the traffic in but as long as google keeps me ranked well I ned to do that..

Yeah, It's been awhile since I have looked at some of Ricks sites...maybe we get some ideas.. thanks for the tip...

tradeshows need conventioncenters to exhibit in see if he'll swap links with you,,,,they compliment each other,,,,,,,

I was not aware of that, always understood links to you were the key. Was not aware outbound links made any difference except for spidering of the other sites.

If correct we all need to put up more links to key sites as you have done on the bottom of your page, but I am not sure this is accurate information.

Are you saying that if I put up links to well known sites I would rank higher in Google? Can you show us any evidence as to why you say that is so? This is very important if you are correct.
