I'm not sure what the name is worth for resale but I sure think it is a very good name to develop. If I saw that name in an ad in a business publication I would think that the company behind it had the know how to help me use the internet to grow my business or to do ecommerce.

To some businesses that want a strong advertisable name I think it is a good name. Think about if it was used in a radio ad to drive traffic to the company's website or on some type of sign. Web is an easily identifiable word that stands out from commerce. The reader quickly knows what the two words are when you use the name webcommerce.com. It is also easy to remember so that one can look it up when they get back to their office after seeing it on a sign as they drove buy.
