Hi,

Can I get some advice regarding negotiating domain prices with Sedo agents?

I just got an offer via Sedo agent for Weblicity.com. His opening offer was $1,000. Can anyone advise on where I should go from here?

The domain was registered in 1996 and all major extensions have been registered.

Thanks in advance for your help.

best

tom

Where are you at with this?
It is a nice brandable name and a 1K opening offer is pretty serious. Depends on how much other attention you may have had on this, or how attached you are, but with a 1K open, I'd come back with mid four figures (maybe 4500) and zero in from there. It really does depend on what you value this at, since it is a brandable name as opposed to a generic keyword.

Also, is the buyer a longtime Sedo user, or just signed up. A lot of BS offers on Sedo from new members jerking your chain, so don't get too excited until you have the money in your hand.
