Dream On.. Maybe few years ago, but who would now invest this kind of money into web business with no guarantee to keep up the success? 1 year revenue is the most you can get in most cases, only few % of them fetch more..

example (which is based on real life) stated clients go with domains so the domains are part of a business. so business/domain-name go together. value is what I stated, end of subject. however a case can be made how the site is one of the few .com's making money on memberships with no porn. in that case a public dot com should buy it and use the model. so it's worth far more since it's a proven money maker in the dot com world. dnforum = 95% kids, you can tell that from the zero posts

let's see, the site is 6 years old, first two years were free content, then a pay only sign was posted. revenue has double every year for four years. it's an easy 10mil asset

The standard rule for porn sites is 3 times monthly income. The net is not a standard business when it comes to some areas. You can turn a $100,000 asset into a $10,000 one in about 2 weeks if you choose the wrong hosting company. Non porn may be a bit more valuable, say 5 or 6 months income, which is roundabout the valuation you got.
