I like the closing paragraph of the article:

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of such sites. I'm not going to give the URLS: you don't want to see what's on them now, do you?

 

I love the way they report it like the change occurs overnight - yet there is a normally a very long period during which the domain is suspended so it doesn't resolve, during that time the registrar is trying to contact them to remind them to renew.

I read the entire article..

Two comments

a) yes the ISP/total was wrong in what they did
b) it is the Poetry's fault for trusting too much.. and making so
many moves with the site.. etc.. and not keeping up with their
own company name..

They should have been smarter.. and checked up on the
'who is' from time to time as they made their ISP / host
changes..

just my opinion.
