Can anyone tell me something about this dropcatcher? I would use them because they are the only dropcatcher that uses egold as payment method.
Can they catch any good doman for me? As I remember, they charged 15$ per domain backorder (and register fee is included in price) but their site is unavailable at the moment, so I can't check again. Another thing I noticed earlier is that unlike other dropcatchers, with dropfly payment is made in advance, before they acquire domain name for me.

Thank you

Dont waste your money on registerfly service/backorders. They are useless and they steal your money. Try searching google or in this forum with the keyword "registerfly", and look carefully already at the 2nd search result that come up at google.

Seems like if they are up, you will place your $15 backorder. But I believe my comment saved you $15. See you around.

stay out of registerfly period

Ok, that's what I read at few more places, but anyone told me why to do so... Can you tell me some more info? Is it because thay are unable to catch any domain name or it's some other reason?

Thank you

bad accounting practices, missing domains, unable to catch domains, renewal problems, support sucks, can't change nameserver problems , frequent reminder emails years after you sold domains, charges on your card for failed registrations, refunds almost impossible, transfer problems , website is buggy , don't take paypal, horrible hosting servers, frequent "no connect" errors when trying to register.

I handregged names a few days after the drop even though I had the names backordered with them.

Don't use registerfly for anything.

I'll second that.. Registerfly should be avoided at all costs.. Don't go near them..

Took me almost a year (and hundreds of tickets, emails etc) to get a .co.uk domain in my name when I regged it with them a couple of years ago.. I eventually had to go direct to nominet to get the problem fixed.. One word for rippoff-fly ... cowboys

I gave it try a while back. I can confirm their backorder is useless. It will not catch anything. I actually grabbed a name by hand and their 'backorder' would not even notice. RF is not reliable for anything.

Tnx

If truly obscene language were allowed at DNforum, I'd be glad to give my opinion about registerfly too!
