It depends, I have many too been holding a long time. I won't sell any for under a few thousand, and some I want a lot more than that.
The value depends on how repetitive the letters are or how jumbled (or not jumbled).
Occasionally I am able to sell one at or around my asking.
I suppose I could have dumped most of them for 3K each easily 8 years ago, but I didn't!
