What are the best merchant accounts?

Anyone have an opinion on what the best merchant accounts are? My friend is starting a band, and he needs to process credit card transactions for people buying his CDs online. I'm the one who is developing the domain, doing the HTML, and setting this all up.

paypal looks tempting. If my friend sells CDs for $15, then he only will pay 63 cents per transaction to Paypal.

Anyone have any experience using paypal as a merchant account, positive or negative?
