Do a search on this form for "Domain Research Tool"

As for finding cheap domains, http://www.freshdrop.net

If you use FireFox, the Project Whois and SEO Quake add-ons are good.

However, does anybody know if this one is a good tool?

If it is a drop catcher you'll be in competition with several thousand other people all trying to do the same thing you are.

If you're going to heavily rely on dropped domains then it might be worth it (all depending on how well it works). If not, you might as well settle w/ drop catch services such as Pool and Snapnames.
