I know that copyright information, including pictures and in addition company names in meta tags can get you in trouble. However, isnt it freedom of speech to be able to put a companies name on your site if you are doing reviews of them?

You can definitely use the names of companies on your site if it's part of a review of them.

I have never heard of anyone being sued for using a company's name in a review. However, don't quote me on this one, you might need to confirm this with a lawyer!

Does anyone have any lawyer info on this one?

I read somewhere before, that as long as the review is honest, it constitutes fair use. But even then, in the event it's negative, they could still try to make your life miserable.
