Ok - so you might want to send various parties an unsolicited email to promote a domain you're offering for sale, ranging from individuals to large corporations. In such a case, how do you avoid committing actionable spam, or is that automatically spam according to US law? If not, what are the minimum elements the email must contain to avoid being guilty of spam, and what can you leave out? Thanks in advance to all you legal experts out there.

If it's indicidually addressed to a recipient, instead of a mass emailing - or if the recipient opted to enroll in the list of a mass emailing - then it's not spam.
