Then you also have 3 char domains and 3 letter domains, 4 character domains, and llll etc.
The difference with these is "character" includes anything, letters, numbers, international letters and symbols, etc, but is usually referred when speaking about letters and numbers, 36 in all (a-z, + 0-9)
llll, on the other hand, means letter letter letter letter - no numbers, strictly letters. Sometimes you see people misrepresenting LLL or LLLL etc because this pseudo-acronym is loosely refered to to indicate the number of characters, some people see that and think "length of 3 'whatever'" instead of "length of 3 letters".
