Adani Group has invested in hydrogen plants to reduce its cost to 1$
The countries like Germany, Japan, Oman, and France are already into it
Huge money is being invested in Hydrogen plants for the future to reduce the cost, Toyota has already begun the testing of Hydrogen cars.
This industry is going to boom, as this will be cost-effective and environment friendly

Companies Love brandable domains, look at car brands you can see no one use Car + Ford or Ford + Car.

But with Hydro can be created brands, example.
Hydrocopter
Hydrocycle (from Bicycle)
Hydrobike
Hydrocar
Hydrone
Hydroid
Hydrobot

Even the ones I mentioned do not sound perfect as a brand.
Hydrogen is just a fuel but companies will use a brand that is even non related to the fuel, they even may shorten it to HG acronym.
Anyway I wish you good luck in your endeavor.

P.s. the XYZ extension is more for crypto, NFT and gaming, most of companies will prefer COM version for their global target product.

My advice

Develop

Then brands and dealers will pay you to be on a developed site for that industry

Cars find your page, then you push your brand, they are not brand loyal looking for these terms

Plus big companies cn buy ppc cheap with an EMD industry term

.xyz works fine for seo and sem
