Who has protected their brand?

Who is eager for the landrush?

After the landrush, how many domains are you going to run out and buy?

Hey david, i had been avoiding the .pw tld until i discovered the name has been rebranded to Professional Web..I still avoided the tld despite the update but after been overwhelmed with these .pw landrush i decided to give it a little attention and decided to do some seach if some premium .pw's were still unregistered. Before i started my search i just thought since .pw means Professional Web, then it will only make sense for me to aquire exact match profession/career keyword domain names since i was will to spend little or no money on them. So i did my search and found the following domain unregistered and grabbed them immediately. Its all about branding.

As far as seo is concerned, i cannot say for now how hard or easy .pw can also rank in search engines, if what i am sure of is that if dont play too much outside seo rules, you can rank any TLD . , For now i know that registry.pw and pwregistry.pw are both ranking in google for .pw related searches. So thats a good sign .

:focus:
Regarding the professions/career domains i bought , i bought a total of 18 .pw domains

Microbiologist.pw
CivilEngineer.pw
Librarian.pw
Zoologist.pw
FinancialAnalyst.pw
DatabaseAdministrator.pw
ElectricalEngineer.pw
EnvironmentalScientist.pw
DesktopPublisher.pw
FitnessTrainer.pw
FoodScientist.pw
LandscapeArchitect.pw
Mathematician.pw
ProfessionalAthlete.pw
Recreationaltherapist.pw
Referee.pw
RegisteredNurse.pw
SystemsAnalyst.pw
FitnessModel.pw

Others include = vcard.pw and vcards.com

If i could magically convert these domains into .com's , i'll be somewhere on an Island drinking Champagne rightnow

Richerr, I wish you the best and IMO they're all $0 to regfee. Better have some damn good selling skills.

There is no such thing as 'Professional Web', nobody says that. It's like saying .cc stands for credit cards or creative commons. But seriously, keep your money.

A little too late for that with 20+ regs.

As I'm not too cold blooded, I wish you luck in recovering reg fees.

Best of luck with the pw's. The registry will need many others to pay reg fees to accumulate a small budget for branding it as professional web. Personally the risk is to high for my investing profile.

I find it interesting with all the contributions to this thread and any other thread relating gTLD's that anyone would still try and register a .pw and also try and sell it on DNF...

appgames.com was recently sold for around $35000.
How much would "appgames.pw" be worth?
What would be more important to a website, the name or the extension.

The name and the (g,cc)TLD.

Don't expect $35000 if you regged that, probably 35 cents if you're lucky.

I'll double down and go for a 99.5% figure as it was pushed pretty hard (not as much as .Co) for the sunrise and landrush. It's only been available for public regs a week or two now? ;)

and i bet my whole portfolio, that at least 98% are registered to domainers

:)
