They have Cheap poor bandwidth providers - thats why they are cheap.

People in other countries can't always see your sites all the time because of there network

They are great if you know how to manage a server, or can pay someone to administer one for you. Really cheap, but great uptime, etc. overall my experience has been very good with them.

They are good.... they have mirc support... the people are nice... but as someone already said before, you really need to know to managing servers. They use rather cheap bandwidth providers IMO but uptime is great.

cheers

that's strange. They seem to offer cpanel, ensim...etc... so in what way are they more 'complicated' than other dedicated host providers?

I really need a dedicated server now, and they seem to have good prices.

They are good. I would suggest EV1 for best quality though. I run a dedicated machine on ServerMatrix (ThePlanet datacenter) and a server on EV1. EV1, while far from cheap is very good. So is ServerMatrix if you plan to admin your servers. EV1, in my experience, has better techs.

Thanks,

EV1Servers (RackShack.net) isn't an ISP.

If you are asking that question.

GET A VERY WELL MANAGED SERVER. :)

There is much more!

You need to know about WHM, SSH, Telnet and a bunch of others things I have no clue about : )

You don't really need those "extras" as they should be provided by your host at no extra cost.

sometimes you need them especially domain resellers who need to park tons of domains not ready to develop or host them

forwarding = parking = money$$$$

But that's EXACTLY what I meant: they should be provided by your host AT NO EXTRA COST. Perhaps you should find yourself a new/better host.

i haven't started yet paying for hosting

but i register my domains for 6.80$

around 1 dollar per domain difference with rackshack

if i have 20 domains i don't think there is a host which will allow me to host and forward 20 domains for 20$ a year:rolleyes:

if you know any you may tell

Well ... the keywords here are AT NO EXTRA COST. Of course, you still have to pay for the hosting of your first, core domain; just stay away from those hosts that charge you extra for pointing domains or even parking. You shouldn't have problems finding a host that charges you say $10 a month and allows you to redirect, mirror or park DOZENS more domain names.
