ssssh its a secret lol thanx for pointing out the mistake well lets hope they get back fast

actually you will be lucky if they get back fast:) Moniker is perfect in all aspects, their only drawback is their relatively slow customer support

Never Knew this was going to happen on Moniker iam very disappointed :disappointed: its been over 24 hours and not a single reply not even confirmation email ? :?: :veryangry:

yesterday was a holiday...why not try calling them now..they are open

I had similar problem with a .de domain. The problem is that you dont have an address in Germany so that´s why they are unable to register the domain.

About the support...I received an email after 48 hours...and also they told me that they make a previous mistake and they return me all the money. Excellent support as ever. You cannot get any better support elsewhere.

well called them anyway support was very good didnt have to wait a second but had some language problems at first a few seconds but worked out fine what the problem is the domain isnt unregistered so cant cancel it neither can the support representative now he assured me a after 5 minutes of talk that he will cancel and refund the money lets see

I haven't got any response from support request e-mails I've sent to Moniker.

I'm having a DNS change issue with some domains.

Call them directly. Ask who is in charge in your account. When I got an issue over the DNS change they solve it in 24 hours.

Although I love Moniker, their customer service needs a little help.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response, as it would be a miracle to receive a response faster than 24 hours.

I wouldn't mind seeing response times trimmed down to 6-12 hours MAX.

jdk i love moniker too but they gotta do something about their support this could be bad for them as GoDaddy has got very good support even for refunds you are lucky u get answer in 24 hours or more it takes me minimum 4 days and max 7 days for me WHY ???? i hate this

What is your definition of FAST?

You are right. Godaddy is a joke with support. I give them all my information but forgot to include one piece, and they respond requesting it. Then it takes another 12 or so hours to respond.

The ONLY thing Godaddy has over Moniker is response time to their support emails. I do not think I have received a support request in less than 24 hours at Moniker. I know having worked in a call center as a manager, having over 40 million accounts, we had to have a response in a certain period of time. I have never tried calling them, so I can not talk for their phone support.

You can't be the best at everything I guess. Overall, Moniker still gets my checks for pre-payment every month or so.

No responses to e-mails.

A call seemed to fix the problem.

But the fix was temporary. (The domain pointed to the wrong DNS again after about 24 hours).

I used to be a customer at 1and1 so Moniker is a slight improvement but they could do a better job with support.

yes, I agree.
Unfortunately Moniker's support has deteriorated over the pas year. But so has Enom's (Enom's has deteriorated even more).
Overall though, Moniker and Enom are still the best IMO.

Only if I had a $6.96 or $7.95 enom account to use as a backup when I receive domains pushed to my enom account :)

Hi,

If you can, apply for a Fabulous.com business account.

.Com is $6.75
and registrations are fast.

If your interested in a $7.95 enom account, I have one left, I'll let it go for $100.

I have $4.35 in the account now, so actually I want $104

This is the pricing.

TLD Registration /yr Renewal /yr Transfer
.com $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.net $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.org $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.us $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.info $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.la $59.95 $59.95 N/A
.biz $7.95 $7.95 $7.95
.co.uk * $6.99 $6.99 $6.99
.org.uk * $6.99 $6.99 $6.99

Sorry for going off topic!

I have never tried calling them, so I can not talk for their phone support.

Their phone support is excellent. The thing is, the last thing I want is to pay $20-30 for a phone call from Czech Republic to USA. I did it only once, when it was urgent and I knew that I couldn't rely on their email support. I have to admit that on the phone they were very helpful, that's a big A+. As far as email support, it has happened to me more than once, to send an email inquiry and get no response at all.

Moniker is the best registrar in all aspects and I have always been recommending them and referring customers to them , but unfortunately by far not the best when it comes to email support. I have been reading posts from forum members complaining about that for as long as I can remember and it's the one single thing that's moniker's weakness.

It wasnt the case in the past.
Moniker's support was actually the best in the industry.
It is only recently that this downfall has happened.
The same with Enom.
