The last time I checked http://www.nextregistrationrights.com they were saying something like get your slot with us now and be the first to be notified when WLS launches.

Will this be a sneak reveal that NS is planning?

I believe Snapnames is all geared up for the launch with their backend. It's really a question of when the button will be pushed. Whatever it is, Verisign has indicated they won't be cowed if SiteFinder is anything to go by.

Because the "smaller players" refuse to do their homework prior to that one chance they have i.e. at WLS launch, to take out the big players on serious names.
