What is EPP Transfer Code?

Hi,

What the heck is "EPP Transfer Code"?
I am trying to transfer domain to Moniker.

On the form, it has two input field.
First is "EPP Transfer Code".
Second is " Moniker Auth Code".

Second one - I got it on the email from moniker.
But, what is First one?

Anyone know?

An EPP Transfer code is a code you need to get from the loosing registrar, prior to transfering a .org, .biz or .info domain (and a few others).

Check the control panel of your current registrar or email them to get the code.

Moniker's transfer page say nothing about this :-(

com/net is in the transition period where some registrars have the EPP code and some have not implemented it yet. If the losing registrar has not implemented the code yet you should not need it. Last week Godaddy had it working but ENOM did not. in any case you should not have to delay it.
