The lowest I understand so far is from Yahoo Domain at $2.99/year, however only limit to one per user. Please share if you know a better place to register a domain at low price.:ok:

What he is saying is sometimes it is worth paying a little more to get better quality and service. Paying less sometimes can cause huge headaches later - even painfully expensive ones.

That doesn't mean there are not registrars that offer low prices with good quality service.

THanks whitebark, i think I am just simple minded.

I buy domain only for 2 reasons: to build a site with it or making money with it (i.e.resell/park it).

Lower buying price will always be my concerns then.

I am more picky on the hosting quality if I want to set up a site.

And, I am more calculative if I want to resell it later, a cheaper buying price is always preferable to get a better return.

Same thing applies when I want to parked it.

Let me know what you think, thanks.

if you're a budget domainer then it doesn't hurt to keep spending low while knowing there are pros and cons to it. Just look for a relatively cheap registrar who's reliable n reputable like Godaddy.

Use 007names.com

What is more important is reliability and easy management

Netfirms and DomainSite offer domains at a cheap price too, however I think Namecheap is more reliable.

godaddy.com or godaddy's resellers !

OK so you've registered your $2.99 domain with FlyByNightNames.com and built it up over the year to make some good income. Then for "some reason" your renewal doesn't "go through" and all of a sudden someone else owns your money-making domain or it's being auctioned by a drop catcher. I see these stories all the time!

So you could spend a few thousand bucks to appeal it to ICANN, or you could have just registered with a reputable registrar for $7.95-$11.95 in the beginning.

It's like building a house on a cheap foundation. If it's only a few dollars more to protect your investment, I think it's worth the peace of mind.

Also, i am checking special price for Moniker.com.

For the security, usability and customer service, I've found $6.95 at Moniker to be the best deal for me. And I've tried Netsol, Bulk, Register, GD, NameScout (pool), Dotster and others. FWIW.

That is the best advise I have. I am currently using GoDaddy and Netfirms. Just want to know if it is wise to continue paying few bucks more every year. Thanks Daniel.

Even if Moniker has a 100 % perfect customer service they need 24 hours customer service for in case.:fencing:

Customers may want to contact their own registrar if they have any question about domain related issue or etc..... Since almost the whole world deals with domains, not everyone can accomodate Moniker.com's customer service times.

So, I'm still vacillating whether to buy domains at Moniker.com........

We will definitely take care of you. We will provide you the best in class service, security, and domain asset management, while helping you grow the value of your portfolio.

Pricing for DNF members:

$6.95 .com / $5.49 .net / $6.95 .org / $4.49 .info ( .net and .info rate apply new Registration only, transfer and renewals are $6.95)

If you send me your acct # I will get that pricing set up for you, fund your account, and invoice you based on the total number of domain credits /funds you want in your account. We prefer that you pay by check by pre-funding your account. You can purchase by credit card in the meantime.

We would also extend these rates (.net and .info renewal and transfers will be $6.95) to you for the transfer /consolidation of your names to Moniker, and we would do all the work to make sure your names are quickly/safely transferred with no interruption to any domains or websites. Just send us the list of your portfolio of names and I can assist you further in completing the transfers. We offer a no interest payment plan to consolidate your names. As this not only saves you a tremendous amount of time managing names scattered between registrars, but it saves Moniker a tremendous amount of time and money as well.

We also recently launched a .com/.net testing system you can use in conjunction with your TrafficClub account. If you cancel .com or .net registrations within the 4 day grace period you will get refunded the registration fee less a 25 Cents delete fee. This will be available for limited time depending on how long the registry allows.

To register your TrafficClub account:
