I'm with godaddy and they will allow me to cancel a purchase within 5 days , but it looks like I still have to pay 3.99 per month for two months minimum to do the hosting with them. Am I missing something here? How are you doing tasting on a large scale? :?:

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you're willing to share.

I had several issues with godaddy b4 with tasting. They basically stopped me from doing such thing even though i was following the rules and regs. And i was only doing it on a small scale. Some companies and people do it on a much larger scale. Heck, i would take 50k and taste every 4.5 days if i had that system down pat with the necessary tools to make it happen. By the way... anybody know how to do this.... legally and smart?

Domains that are being tested should be parked, not hosted.

Godaddy also appears to charge for parking. I'm serious. The sign up page looks like it costs 3.99 per month and then they give you 60% of the revenue.
If I bought the site at godaddy and use a different parking service, will the parking service be able to start hosting the page immediately? What's the best service to use for tasting purposes?

Thanks again.

You will learn not to use Godaddy. Moniker is a better choice for someone doing this more than casually. Moniker has their own parking available, TrafficClub. You need to get an account at both, individually. That's the easiest way to get started. Immediately reset the DNS to TrafficClub upon registration, then enter the names to your trafficclub account.

godaddy has too many "profit centers" set-up for the unknowing.

i avoid them whenever possible.

i also use Moniker if i test a domain. ( but always forget to cancel names :) )

as stated before, only park names when tasting, don't buy hosting services.

you can set NS to any PPC you want at Moniker.

Thank you all for the very helpful answers. My first tasting is now going on. Unfortunately it doesn't taste very good so far :veryangry:

is there a way to taste thousands of names with a simple program?

if so please pm with instructions
